Does Silver Belle Events sell alcohol?

No, we are BYO. We serve alcohol and drinks supplied by the client (you!). This means you can choose whatever drinks tickle your fancy and most importantly, you save money.

 

Do you serve beer on tap?

Yes! We have an ambient keg system which means your kegs don’t need to be chilled. We have two taps so you can serve two different types of beer, or a beer and a cider, or a ginger beer. We can serve alcoholic cocktails through the system too. We can point you in the right direction when it comes to purchasing kegs. A 50L keg of beer costs around $300 (we can put you in touch with a local brewery!) and gives you around 118 schooners. That’s less than $3 a beer!

How much alcohol should I buy, and where from?

All of our packages included menu planning and consultation.

You can purchase alcohol from where ever you like, however we recommend Dan Murphy’s Wedding Drinks and Cocktail Planning service. The Dan Murphy’s wedding planning team can offer you customized drinks packages to suit your event size, style and budget, and deliver directly to your venue. You can even return unopened cases after your event! We have had great feedback from customers who have used this service.

Do you provide staff?

Yes. Our packages include fully trained and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certified bar staff. The number of staff required depends on the size of your event.

 

Do you serve cocktails?

Yes, guests always love a welcome cocktail! You can pre-order the number of welcome cocktails that you would like for your guests. If you’d like cocktails available all night, an additional staff member is usually required.

What are the dimensions of Silver Belle?

Silver Belle is four metres long including drawbar, two metres wide and 2.5 metres high. We require a flat, level space to set up on and sufficient space for our 4wd to tow the van into place, turn around etc. Please ensure that there is sufficient clearance.

Given Silver Belle is 68 years old, please let us know if the access appears very steep, narrow or difficult so that we can come and evaluate the access.

Does Silver Belle require access to power and water?

We prefer if power is available as it allows us to run silently however, for events that are off the grid, we can run off a generator.

We provide a water station with 20L of drinking water, however, we highly recommend you also arrange bottled drinking water for your guests as part of your drinks order, especially if potable water is not available on site.

Can you do tea and coffee service?

Yes, we can do tea and coffee service. We can provide coffee beans, milk, tea, cups, napkins, sugar. Everything you need for a tea party or a corporate event. Please get in touch with us to discuss what you require so we can give an exact price.

Do our drinks need to be pre-chilled?

Silver Belle has a commercial bar fridge to store bottled beer, wine and mixers for service, however your drinks must be chilled before we arrive. We highly recommend hiring a cool room to store and chill your drinks prior to our arrival. At the end of our bar service, we will unload all remaining drinks into the cool room.

If you do not wish to hire a cool room, please have your drinks in a fridge we can access freely, or eskies with ice ready for us to load into the caravan bar upon arrival. We will unload the remaining drinks back into the fridge or eskies at the end of your service.

Please Note - We must be set-up in close proximity to the cool room for service as we re-stock the bar many times throughout the event.

Kegs should NOT be chilled for our type of beer system.

 

Do you provide glassware?

We understand glassware is a touchpoint, and we have sourced high-quality glassware for your guests to use throughout the evening. We do encourage guests to reuse their glasses and return them to the bar when finished. There is no additional charge for glassware, however, we do hold a small $100 deposit. 

What about rubbish disposal?

Silver Belle provides two large bins for guests to dispose of bottles and cups throughout the event. WE change these as required. Rubbish disposal is your responsibility.

Can we decorate Silver Belle to suit our event?

Absolutely! Silver Belle loves to dress up. We can coordinate with you or your stylist to ensure Silver Belle is styled to suit your theme.

 

How do I book?

Ready to book? Please email hellosilverbelle@gmail.com or give us a call. We can hold your requested date for one week and require a 30% deposit to confirm your booking. Full payment must be finalised 30 days before your event.

 

Do you have cancellation fees?

Once you book with us, your date is reserved and we do not consider any other bookings. We are happy to work with you if you need to reschedule your event, however your deposit is non refundable.

We know that booking your event during is a bit scary since Covid and with recent wild weather. In the event that Covid restrictions or inclement weather mean that your event cannot go ahead as planned, we will do our best to accommodate any changes to your event location or date, FREE of charge.
